Zanoya and Conant lead Eagles to 4th-place finishPublished by
WHITEWATER, Wis. - Five Edgewood College runners finished in the top-25 of a field that included 80 runners Saturday afternoon at the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Invitational to give the Eagles a fourth-place finish out of seven teams. Natasha Zanoya continued her strong start to her sophomore season by finishing fourth overall in a time of 23 minutes, 58.8 seconds. Only Wisconsin Lutheran's Julie Favorite (23:10.7), UW-Whitewater's Amy Kahl (23:16.4) and Monmouth's (Ill.) Kyra Kimber (23:19.2) finished ahead of Zanoya, who broke her own school record in a 4,000 meter race earlier this year at the UW Badger Opener.
